Let's do our part to help elect Sen Barack Obama as the next President of the United States of America.
Many of you already have, recently Mikail Garabedian, Karine Keshkegian and Ani Hagopian have given time in the local offices. This is valuable to our candidate, Barack Obama and to our visibility as a community with activists.
Friday night October 24 at the Seroonian Community Center a phone banking event will be held from 7- 8 pm to encourage Armenian Americans to vote and support Senator Obama.
As noted below local residents can participate in a canvassing in the Consohoken, Plymouth Meeting and Lafayette Hill area on Saturday the 25th. Opportunities may exist in your area.
Local offices and work teams are always looking for volunteers, see the website for options and locations. You will be warmly received as a volunteer and they appreciate even short brief shifts of volunteer work.
If you visit the website the number and diversity of organizations and individuals will motivate you as well. The site will help you find your local office.
Please commit time to the campaign. Take photos and send them to me so that we can promote our good work.
At the Seroonian Center on Friday, there will be Armenian Americans for Obama Tshirts, pins and stickers.
